FUNCTION OF UNION HUMAN RESOURCE AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
1. Provide professional support as well as training and development of employed personnel at all levels and institutions within the Union
2. Hone and develop leadership skills and competencies of employed personnel within the organization.
3. Promote and encourage greater leadership effectiveness and succession planning at all levels and institutions within the Union.
4. Organize and provide programs for the social and spiritual support and growth of each employee within the organization.
5. Where necessary, address diversity issues among personnel within the workforce of the organization.
6. Execute employees evaluation and assessment initiatives and carry full functions of human resource management within the organization.
7. Develop a cadre of leaders within the Union who will be at the cutting edge in xpertise, excellence, and efficiency in their work.
8. To model and give leadership servant leadership qualities for emulation by leaders at the Union, local fields and institutional levels of the organization.
9. Work closely with the director of human resources and leadership development at the Inter American Division to provide education and training for leaders within the Union territory that they may grow and develop in maximizing their potentials.
10. To provide and or expose leaders of the organization to the most up-to-date leadership resources available.
11. To create a leadership center at the Union office or at any other location feasible within the Union, a bank of leadership resources that will be accessible for use by persons at all levels within the Union territory.
12. To conduct and or arrange annual leadership development seminars, forums, symposiums, retreats, camps, summits, congresses, festivals, conventions, lecture series or councils to benefit organizational leaders within the territory.
13. To facilitate the exchange of leadership best practices within the Union territory.
14. To assist departmental directors at the Union and local fields level in conducting effective training programs for leaders of their departments.
