Whereas there is always the need to enhance organizational productivity and provide continuous training and development of the human resources at all levels within the Inter American workforce

And whereas there is a need to enhance succession development within the organizational workforce at all levels

And whereas there is a need to organize and strengthen Human Resource management within the organization

And whereas there is need to provide resources and professional support for personnel at all levels within the employed workforce of the organization

And whereas there is need to develop quality, efficient and spirit-filled servant leaders at all organizational and institutional levels of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church within the Inter American Division:

The Office of Human Resource and Leadership Development of the Inter American Division is established to give leadership to addressing the stated needs.

The head office of the Human Resources and Leadership Development of the Inter American Division is located at the headquarters office of the Inter American Division of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Address of the physical location is in the contact us section of this website. 

There are 21 regional offices of the office of Human Resource and Leadership Development. These are located at the headquarters office of each Union within the Inter American Division territory.

OBJECTIVES:

1.    Discuss and propose a system of gathering information, developing tools for assessment, and creating a consortium of leaders who   will help design leadership training that serves the diverse within the Division.

  1. Explore leadership training needs around the Division with a view to identifying critical areas in which those elected to leadership can be oriented.
  2. Identify leadership training centers, entities, and programs available in the church and create a network of how these can be of service to the Unions within the Division.
  3. Develop a cadre of leadership specialists who can be called upon to serve as facilitators at different leadership training events within the Division.
  4. Create a system whereby we can get input from the Unions on the “Orientation Package” that Presidential, Secretariat and Treasury have been tasked to produce.
  1. Provide professional support as well as training and development of employed personnel at all levels and institutions within the Seventh-day Adventist organization across the Inter American Division territory.
  2. Hone and develop leadership skills and competencies of employed personnel within the organization.
  3. Promote and encourage greater leadership effectiveness and succession planning at all levels and institutions within the Inter American Division territory.
  4. Organize and provide programs for the social and spiritual support and growth of each employee within the organization.

10.  Execute employees evaluation and assessment initiatives.
